In the article at the link, CNN states that gun control is necessary because 9000 to 10,000 people are murdered every year with guns.  There are numerous sources citing that guns are used around 2 million times every year in self defense.

So, let's be VERY conservative and cut that by 90% to 200,000.  It looks like CNN wants 190,000 to die or risk death so that those 10,000 MIGHT NOT get shot.

It's time to fight back.  The Aurora theater shooting is terrible.  In reading about it, I have found that Cinemark theaters prohibit firearms, so legal concealed carry permit holders could not help in this incident.

It would seem that someone should be checking to see if, and how many, concealed carry permit holders were in the theater but didn't bring weapons due to the prohibition.  Also, had any permit holders gone elsewhere for that performance because of the prohibition.

Cinemark has chosen to place their customers in harm's way due to this policy, and it's come home to them now.  How many people may have been saved from death or injury had there been one or more concealed carry legal firearms in that theater?  Perhaps the victims' attorneys should find out, and sue Cinemark.  It's only fair.  If they want to join the "disarm legal gun owners" crusade, they should pay for this.
